About Montana
History
In November 1964, Mr. Harald J. Mayrock founded the first company of the group of companies that would latter merge into Montana S.A. This first company was called Proavico and its purpose was to supply a market, which was then little known: balanced nutrition for animals.
Throughout these first 45 years, its founder has successfully instilled and expressed in a team of qualified persons the conviction and vision of the future, which drives him to continue betting for Peru, offering quality products, expanding the productive infrastructure and permanently renewing it with state-of-the-art technology.
Presently, the company has about 400 workers, has an area of approximately 70,000 m2, and its annual sales are close to US$ 100 million –placing it among the top 200 companies in Peru-, and carries out its activities in three main areas:
- Animal nutrition and health
- Ingredients for food
- Natural Ingredients
